Things I read and I love

A very cleverly written book. I also like the art a lot. Wonderful and stereotype-free characters. Amazing rhythm of narration and very interesting direction. It was rightfully nominated for the 2015 Glaad Award. I didn't check if it got it. In my book it did!

Is really god an a-hole? I have no idea but I love this book. I can't wait to read more of it. As a creator I'm really proud of what our art can produce. A wonderful idea, an even better execution.

Sweet Jesus! I'm blown away. I didn't sleep, I didn't eat, I couldn't think until I was able to read the whole of it. Now it's time for the new lone wolf and cub!

I am a listener of his music since I began choosing what to listen. A musician that can narrate as good as he plays. Very engaging story. Sometimes far-fetched and other times down-to-earth. A truly captivating book about love and other demons.

I never get tired of the Savage Sword of Conan. Never! Those stories are carved on my heart. Whenever I 'm blue, those stories are the medicine. Amazing worlds. Unbelievable adventures. Conan was the first comic I've ever read. I cannot forget the moment that I closed that book. My life changed forever. Part of what I'm now is because of the work of all those amazing artists and writers. Some years ago I had the chance to personally meet Roy Thomas and it was like having in front of me the person that fed for all my life my imagination. Thank you Mr. Thomas!

I mean, nothing can go wrong by reading Lovecraft in german. I do it slowly. I have to wrestle with the language, but a good story is a good story in any language. Especially, when written in an obsolete yet strangely addicting type of german.

So that's an oldie! It is the The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket and I think it's one of the books that I've found hidden in my mother's library (her room looks like one). It's on greek. I believe that this book's translator has the biggest pair of balls I've ever seen hanging from a person's body. Thanks Mrs Athanasopoulou for your effort. The maritime language looks absolutely wonderful also in greek.

This is love at first sight! What's  not to love here? Attack on Titan gives us a world without real history, every book gives us some more information as our perception of the closed world begins to expand. I mean a lot of manga follow this mannerism with Berserk and Claymore being two all-time favorite of mine (I could add the fist of the north star but this is like showing you a photo of myself as I secretly eat Nutella, naked under my bed).

Things that I play!

I've just begun playing it. More to come in the following days :-)

Do yourself a favor and go and buy this little rough diamond. Do you like Apocalypse Now? Do you like abstract and sometimes illogical games? Do you like action and meaning? Then you're gonna love 'The Line'.

I still have my old XBOX 360 and I still get a lot of milage out of this gentle old lady of video gaming! So, the game is very interesting. The storyline is really good and the main protagonists one of a kind. I enjoeyd every second of it.

Lastly, I have the chance to enjoy The Banner Saga! I've been waiting to sink my teeth into this juicy piece of gaming. It's more enjoyable than I expected! Truly wonderful!

Since the dawn of video games no one managed to translate human imagination in the binary system better than those creators did. I've played on my Wii U. I smiled, I cried, I lived a wonderful adventure and when I got up I was a better human being.

I first played this game when I was 7-8 years old. My father gave a small fortune and gave me as a present a used CPC-464. So, the first time around I played this game on a real cassette. I can't really remember how much time I've spent trying to beat this game on a monochrome black-green monitor. Some days ago I've found a copy for my xbox360 and I gave it a try. And it is good. If I could give an advice to my 8 years old self would be: Bro. Wait and you'll see. It gets only better!

I live 2000 km away from my friends. Since I was a child I used to meet with them and play something almost everyday. In fact it doesn't matter what we play. The only thing that matters is that we do it together. Left for dead is an amazing opportunity to have fun with my best friend. Yes. We kill zombies but there are worse things to do out there.

:-)

Songs to sing! Music full of ideas!

One song that I 've been trying to recall for many months. I listened it almost 15 years ago and since then I always forget it and sometimes it comes back uninvited. So, here it is!

Out of the blue I've found it again. I don't really know what to say about this song. Just check it out for yourselves!

The Köln Concert is a concert recording by the pianist Keith Jarrett of solo piano improvisations performed at the Opera House in Cologne (German: Köln) on January 24, 1975.The double-vinyl album was released in the autumn of 1975 by the ECM Records label to critical acclaim, and went on to become the best-selling solo album in jazz history, and the all-time best-selling piano album,[ with sales of more than 3.5 million

When writing about the perilous caprices of love, I find nothing better than 'The Chain'. I can hear it again and again and again...

I am not really sure why, but while working on my new book I need a daily dose of this song. It is a single from the Chumbawamba album: Un. The song deals with the fate of ancient relics as they get displaced and lose their geographical and time frame, for money.
